Education process will not be interrupted despite frost

There are yet no reasons for suspending the education process. Such a measure might be taken only when there will be under minus 14 degrees Celsius in classrooms, the head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Tverdohleb said at the meeting of the Chisinau services and divisions on Monday, January 25, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Tatiana Tverdohleb, persons had been on guard in schools and kindergartens over the weekend to prevent accidents in the water and heat pipelines. On Monday morning, all the eduction institutions in Chisinau started work according to the normal regime. The official said the Ministry of Education decided that electric heaters will be placed in the schoolrooms and kindergarten rooms where the temperature will be below minus 14 degrees Celsius. The children living far from school who will miss the classes or will be late will not be punished. It is the parents who decide if the children should go to school or kindergarten or not.
