The social networking sites are attentively monitored by employees of the Education Ministry and the Assessment and Examination Agency. The candidates were informed about this before the math and history Baccalaureate exams by the Agency’s head Adrian Ghicov by a message delivered through Radio Moldova station, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The Assessment and Examination Agency warns the candidates that they can have their papers annulled if it turns out that they contain answers identical to those spread through the Internet on the exam day,” said Adrian Ghicov. According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Education, hundreds of ‘samples’ have been collected and synthesized. They will enable the National Exams Commission to invalidate the papers of the candidates who used them. The authors of the copied papers will be able to take the exams again in the 2013 session. During the second Baccalaureate exam, in the foreign language, it was established that three students photographed the papers and published them on the Internet. Their papers were nullified. These students will sit the exam in the foreign language again next summer.
