The Ministry of Education and Research is inviting entries for the 2021 National Youth Awards to mark the National Youth Day on November 14, IPN reports.
The Ministry said in a press release the awards will be offered for outstanding contributions to the development of the youth sector, for the implementation of projects and programs with a high impact on young people, as well as for young people with outstanding individual achievements.
The competition has two components: National Awards for Young People, and National Awards for the Youth Sector.
National Awards for Young People will be offered to Moldovan citizens aged 14-35, to youth groups, non-commercial and commercial organizations that in the last 12 months have carried out projects with an impact for young people. The award comes with cash prizes of 15,000 lei for the general category and 10,000 lei for the individual category.
National Awards for the Youth Sector will be offered to youth specialists from local public authorities (LPA), youth workers, youth centers, as well as local youth councils. Cash prizes will be of 12,000 lei for the best youth specialists and the youth worker of the year, 15,000 lei of the Local Youth Council of the year, and of 20,000 lei for the best Youth Center of the year.
The deadline for submitting entries is November 26.
