The groups with extended hours in the schools of Chisinau are financed exclusively with funds from the municipal budget, said the deputy head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports Andrei Pavaloi, who discouraged the collection of money from parents, IPN reports.
Andrei Pavaloi urged the parents to notify the education authorities if they are asked to pay for their children to attend groups with extended hours. The Division will intensify checks so as not to allow the unjustified gathering of financial means.
In Chisinau there are 1,077 classes with extended hours for primary school students.
