The Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure requested the Buiucani branch of the Court of Chisinau to annul the National Agency for Energy Regulation’s order of June 12 by which higher price ceilings for gasoline and diesel fuel were set. The lawsuit was filed on June 12, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Ministry said the claim was submitted in concert with the Agency for Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance. They asked to suspend the order until an irrevocable court judgement is passed.
The claim says the rights and legitimate interests of the consumers could have been violated.
