The Ecologist Party “Green Alliance” estimates that 60% of the voters have not yet decided who to vote for. The party expects to win 10-12% of the votes of the undecided voters, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“After the April 5 elections, we understood that the four parties that entered the Parliament will not be able to represent us. As members of the European Green Party with the right to vote, we have obligations and possibilities of influencing the solving of ecological problems which all the European states are concerned about,” the party’s president Vladimir Braga said.
The Ecologist Party “Green Alliance” was registered as election runner the tenth. It presented its program at a news conference on Monday.
“About 65% of the wells are polluted, the rivers are mudded, while the illegal cutting of forests and the unauthorized waste dumps seriously affect the environment. We will promote and attract river cleaning projects. We already have the necessary applications and offers,” Vladimir Braga said.
Besides solving ecological problems, the party also aims to preserve the country’s territorial integrity, ensure the observance of the human rights, the pluralism of opinion, the traditions and customs of the 80% of Romanians that form the indigenous population and of other ethnic minorities that live in Moldova.
“All the ethnic groups need clean air, clean water and welfare. We are a force that could reconcile the extreme wings,” Vladimir Braga stressed.
The Ecologist Party “Green Alliance” plans to reduce the number of ministries from 16 to 9 and of other sate agencies and departments. It pleads for a sustainable development of the ecological strategy and for stopping the biological degradation.
The party will create the necessary conditions for the local public authorities to benefit from autonomy and attainable community development initiatives. The European integration remains a priority, the party’s president said.
“We will use the mass media sources and the airtime offered on radio and television stations for electoral debates to inform the people about the ideas and priorities of our platform,” Vladimir Braga said.
