The company Eco-Garant will administer the Edinet Industrial Park. The decision was taken by the Government on August 29. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar said that this is the sixth industrial park of the network of parks that the Government intends to create, IPN reports.
The investments for creating and developing the technical and production infrastructure of the Edinet Industrial Park are projected to total €7.5 million, besides the investments of the residents.
It is planned that there will be created over 2,000 workplaces, plus 1,100 indirect jobs in the service sector and agriculture, and 400- 500 jobs while the park will be under construction. It is expected that there will be employed a large part of the persons out of work from the district and people who will return home after working abroad. According to estimates, the district remuneration fund will rise by 100 million lei a year.
