Public Services Agency to test provision of online cadastral services
As from February 1, the Public Services Agency will provide cadastral services online through the e-Services Development Platform on a trial basis. In the trial period, citizens will be able to order online services exclusively for real estate located in the municipality of Chisinau.
Insuring of production risks in agriculture and pisciculture discussed at public debates
If legislative changes are not made, the insurance companies at a certain moment can stop insuring agricultural risks for natural disasters. Such concerns were formulated in public consultations on the draft bill on the insuring of production risks in agriculture and pisciculture that were held on a parliamentary platform.

Vladimir Bolea: We start to invest in animal breeding, plan to have 20,000 cows by 2025
In 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry begins to invest in animal breeding so as to reanimate this sector, said Minister Vladimir Bolea. According to him, the cattle farms this year will be modernized with a loan raised from the World Bank. It is crucial for Moldova to produce at least a part of the quantity of milk needed for consumption so as to decrease imports.
Silos to be inspected following Giurgiulești fire
The central authorities will examine the facilities used to store grain crops and combined fodder. A total of 127 silos managed by 41 business entities will be inspected.
Inspections will be conducted by joint groups consisting of employees of the Agency for Technical Supervision and the Inspectorate for Environmental Protection. Representatives of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations will be involved if need be. The involved institutions will weekly report the taken actions and the inspection results, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry said in a press release.
Russian gas in February will be bought for US$1,054
Moldovagaz in February will purchase Russian gas at the price of US$1,054 per 1,000 cubic meters.

Non-domestic users to get natural gas subsidies
Non-domestic users will receive subsidies for the first 500 meters of natural gas consumed each month during January-March, in the amount of 12.27 lei (without VAT) per cubic meter. The subsidization mechanism for business entities was approved by the Commission for Exceptional Situations.
CES extends permit for Moldovan Metallurgical Plant
The Commission for Exceptional Situations (CES) on January 31 decided to extend until February 28 the permit for the Rybnitsa-based Moldovan Metallurgical Plant or Moldova Steel Works.
Global agricultural production in 2022 lower than a year before
Global agricultural production at farms of all types last year represented 70.2% of the production of 2021 in comparable prices, according to preliminary estimates. The decline was due to the 36.8% decrease in vegetal production and the 2.6% decrease in animal production.
State will sign contracts with rail transport operators to provide cheaper trips
The Government will contract local rail transport operators so as to provide the population with high-quality services at accessible prices. Ion Ceban: There is risk that Termoelectrica will cease operations
The disconnection of S.A Apă-Canal Chișinău from the power supply would lead to a disaster in the municipality, said mayor general of the capital city Ion Ceban. According to him, such a move will mean a halt in the work of Termoelectrica and the supply of heat energy and water all over the city will be this way stopped. The mayor noted the government should cover at least a part of the debts of Apă-Canal as the largest part of the taxes collected in Chisinau is transferred to the state budget.
NAER reports stabilization of fuel prices
The National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER) said the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel have stabilized after growing for a period. For Friday, February 3, the highest selling prices of the main oil products of standard type will be 25.63 lei/liter of gasoline COR 95, 0.04 lei down on today, and 24.72 lei/liter of standard diesel fuel, down 0.20 lei on today.
Central block of Apă-Canal Chisinau disconnected from power supply
