Call to parents of children who attend “Secret Garden” kindergarten

Representatives of the companies “Memphis-Construct” and “Global Construcții” said that even if they made public comprehensive information about their real estate project – the building that is being erected at 13/7 Andrei Doga St – they continue to face pressure and even intimidation. NBM’s position on Ilan Shor’s intention to recover money stolen from banks

The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) ascertains that the recovery of the money stolen from banks, which is a very sensitive issue for society, turns into an instrument for building the image of some of the politicians and is an action aimed at disorienting the public. PPPDA warns: Ship at Giurgiulești port is ready to be loaded with wheat for export

Alexandru Slusari, vice president of the PPPDA, broadcast live from the Giurgiulești port, relating that a ship hired by a company of the group “Transoil” docked in the port and is ready to be loaded with wheat for export. 300 dwellers of block from Mircea cel Bătrân Blvd make call to President

The dwellers of the buildings located at 13/1 and 13/2 Mircea cel Bătrân Blvd in Chisinau accuse a number of state institutions of not fulfilling their duties and suspect some of the judges of corruption after they have been in litigation for a long period of time and the judges they consider corrupt ruled in favor of companies that erect illegally and endanger the life not only of the over 300 people living nearby, but also of the future dwellers of the blocks they are constructing. According to him, the future dwellers of those blocks also face risks because the buildings are situated at a distance of about 25 meters from the gas container of a filling station.

New Digital Era and Innovations: EU’s Support in Moldova, debate

Artificial intelligence, digitization and innovations expand in the Republic of Moldova and the world and the pandemic has only favored this. In 2019, the IT sector in Moldova totaled about US$390 million, over US$280 million of which were export services. According to Ana Chirița, when it goes to digital transformation, content and digital services accessible to the citizens, services centered on health, public electronic services and online financial instruments are needed. It is also necessary to ensure security in the cyberspace. Currently, investments in human capital are being made in the IT sector so that the staff acquires skills and qualities of the highest level.

EU is Moldova’s key commercial partner, “Expert-Grup”

The European Union is the main commercial partner of the Republic of Moldova, the Independent Think Tank “Expert-Grup” confirms by an infographic that shows the importance of the European market for the country. In 2020, Moldova’s exports to the EU represented 67% of the total exports. In the case of baked goods, fats, oils and food from vegetables and fruit, over 80% of these categories of products exported by Moldova went to the EU. The EU’s direct investment prevails in Moldova’s economy with about 71% of the total investment, according to data covering the period until the start of 2020. At the end of last year, direct investment from the EU in Moldova rose to over US$3 billion.

Applicants will be able to get approvals of NBM electronically

Some of the approvals of the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) will be issued electronically. The Executive Board of the NBM approved amendments to the regulations concerning the shareholdings in banks and the regulations on the requirements concerning the members of the bank’s administrative board managers of a foreign bank branch, persons who hold key posts and the liquidator of a bank under liquidation. In a press release, the NBM says the changes refer to the method of obtaining the approvals of the NBM for purchasing shares in another bank and the appointment by the bank of the members of the administrative board, managers of foreign bank branches and persons who hold key posts. For submitting the documents needed for obtaining the approvals electronically, the applicants should have a public key certificate and should register through the agency of the NBM’s portal as a user.

Ion Perju: We consider bread price rises are unjustified

Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Ion Perju said the prices of baked goods were raised unjustifiably by some of the business entities and retail outlets and the reasons behind the rises are not economic-financial in character. In a news conference on May 14, Ion Perju noted the statements made by some of the politicians are speculative. These started already the election campaign and try to divert public attention from the problems that haven’t been solved by the presidential administration owing to which the country fails to obtain important funds of millions of euros in loans and grants.
