The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) on Tuesday, January 15, will publish its judgments in three more cases against the Moldovan Government. In the cases of “Ceachir vs. Moldova” and “Rusu vs. Moldova”, lodged with the Court in 2004, the plaintiffs complain about the violation of Article 6 (right to a fair trial) and Article 1 of the Protocol no.1 (protection of property) to the European Convention. Another case – “Cravcenco vs. Moldova” – lodged in 2002, also refers to the violation of Article 6. To date, the ECHR found Moldova guilty in over 100 cases, obliging it to pay damages totalling approximately 1.8 million euros.
