The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will offer a grant of €250,000 for modernizing Moldova’s Post Office. The Cabinet on February 10 approved the bill to ratify the grant agreement between Moldova and the EBRD, IPN reports.
The €250,000 will be allocated from the EBRD Shareholder Special Fund. The money is intended for implementing new practices and short-term or long-term strategies for developing the railway system and the reforms planned in this sector. These are stipulated in the Moldova – EU association agenda and in the transport and logistics strategy for 2013-2022.
The document is to be presented to the head of state for consideration.
