Eastern Partnership Summit can be followed online

The Moldovans will be able to follow the Vilnius Eastern Partnership Summit online. A number of media outlets announced that they will cover the event, IPN reports.

The delegations taking part in the Summit will arrive in the capital of Lithuania on November 28. In the evening, there will be held several meetings and a dinner of the officials. The main events of the summit will take place on November 29.

The public TV channel “Moldova 1” will transmit the special edition “The Vilnius Summit” on November 29, from 09.10 until 14.00, with official statements and direct reports from the summit. Between 15.00 and 15.30 , there will be broadcast the news conference that will be given by Prime Minister Iurie Leanca.

Radio Moldova has a series of programs dedicated to the Vilnius Summit. On November 28, at 09.15, there will start the program “Public Space”, where there will be discussed the implementation of the plan of action for obtaining the Association Agreement with the EU. Among the invitees are chairwoman of the parliamentary commission on foreign policy and European integration Ana Gutu, executive director of the Public Policy Institute Arcadie Barbarosie, and IDIS expert Cornel Ciurea.

At 18.15, there will be aired the program “Place for dialogue. Argument counts” with the theme “Vilnius Eastern Partnership Summit – historical moment”. In the program, the special correspondent of Radio Moldova in Vilnius Anatol Caciuc will report over the phone.

On November 29, the “Public Space” program will be themed “Initialing of the Association Agreement with the EU”. The invitees will be: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iulian Groza and executive director of the Foreign Policy Association Victor Chirila. At 18.15, there will be broadcast the program “Place for dialogue. Argument counts” that will focus on the developments centering on the Vilnius Summit. Among the invitees will be Master of International Relations Natalia Colesnic and “Expert-grup” expert Denis Cenusa.

Oleg Cristal, editor-in-chief of Publika TV channel, has told IPN that they will broadcast live all the statements and events to which the press will have access as well as live interventions with Moldovan officials and other officials of the Eastern Partnership and the EU.
