The Moldovan tourists that want to visit Romania during the Easter holidays can use the tourist programs promoted by the Romanian Ministry of Tourism that involve hotels and pensions from all over Romania.
These programs offer lower prices for accommodation and meals. The tourists will participate in different cultural activities, will visit tourist attractions and will be able to assist the peasant households in their works during two weeks.
The various tourist offers are available from Moldovan travel companies, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Tourist Information and Promotion Bureau of Romania in Moldova.
The vacation can last for 3 days to two weeks. Three-day accommodation at a seaside hotel, with Easter breakfast and lunch included, costs about 70 euros at a two-star hotel and almost twice more at a three-star hotel.
The “Light on the Seaside” program is designed for those that love the seashore. As part of this program, the tourists will be able to attend the Resurrection Service, will go on tours and participate in special events at lower prices. Goran Bregovic will give a concert on the Mamaia beach on April 19 in the evening. Various concerts and traditional Romanian fairs will be held during the other days.
The Road of Painted Eggs will be organized in the area of Bucovina. The itinerary includes a number of settlements that have workshops of painted eggs and sale exhibitions.
As part of the program “Experience Life at Countryside in Bucovina”, the visitors will be able to take part in different household activities during two weeks. The “Know Bucovina” program is intended for children of school age. It includes stays in student camps to get acquainted with the local Easter traditions.
Minister of Tourism of Romania Elena Udrea has said that the discontented tourists and those that want to commend the Romanian tourist industry can use the green line 0800.86.82.82. or the phone number 021.317.77.39. The calls are free of charge from Romania. The first number can be dialed from a fixed-line phone, while the second from any type of phone.
