Exhibitions and festivals related to Easter are being held in Chisinau during the last week before Easter. Invitees from Alba-Iulia attend the events, Info-Prim Neo reports. On the occasion of the Easter holidays, the Ancient Customs Association from Alba-Iulia, the Romanian Literature Museum “M. Kogalniceanu” and the Chisinau City Hall will set up the exhibition “Alba Customs for all Romanians” between April 22 and 24. The exhibition aims to promote the culture and folklore of Alba County by showing the most representative exhibits from the ethnographic exhibitions of the County, promoting the cultural-artistic routes and tourism destinations. The exhibit will be opened on April 22 at 15.00 in the exhibitions hall of the Romanian Literature Museum “M. Kogalniceanu” located in the building of the Writers Union of Moldova. Another cultural event housed by the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History on April 22 is the twelfth edition of the festival-contest of the people’s Easter song “For Your, God” for folk bands from the municipality of Chisinau. The event is organized by the Botanica district head’s office, the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports and the Culture Division of the Chisinau Municipal Council. Contests of works of art on Easter topics are organized as part of the festival. Dyed eggs and floristic compositions will be on display during the festival. A gala concert of laureates of the festival-contest will be held at the Organ Hall on April 24. Osoianu sisters will give a recital as part of the event.
