The MPs will receive bonuses of 500 lei on the occasion of the Easter holidays. Speaker Igor Corman said that this year the bonuses are lower because the Parliament Building is still under repair and financial recourses are needed to complete the works, IPN reports.
“Work is yet to be done for the lawmakers to be able to work in their offices in the Parliament Building, not at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry,” stated Igor Corman.
The over 400 members of the Parliament’s staff will also receive Easter bonuses.
