Easing of visa procedures, a priority for strengthening Moldo-Bulgarian dialogue

Easing of Bulgarian visa procedures for Moldovan citizens and the participation of Bulgarian investors in projects for developing Moldova’s road infrastructure are the priorities for 2008 in strengthening the Moldo-Bulgarian dialogue, outlined on Monday, Jan 28, by Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin and his Bulgarian counterpart, Georgi Parvanov, at a meeting in Bulgaria. According to a press release from the presidential press unit, cited by Info-Prim Neo, the two heads of state stressed the importance of intensifying cultural and humanitarian interaction, remarking in this respect the opportunity of further coordinating actions related to the activity of the Taraclia State University. In addition, the presidents discussed issues concerning the organisation and holding of the Days of Bulgarian Culture in Moldova. Georgi Parvanov accepted Vladimir Voronin’s invitation to pay a visit to Moldova this year.
