Early parliamentary elections will take place in autumn, PDM

The parliamentary elections are inevitable and they will be held this autumn, the Democratic Party (PDM) says in a statement made public on May 24, Info-Prim Neo reports. The PDM says the Parliament must be dissolved after June 16 and the early legislative elections should be held within a reasonable time frame. “The PDM considers that the phrase “reasonable time frame” means several weeks or months, not years. Thus, the parliamentary elections are inevitable and they will take place next autumn,” it is said in the statement. “The elections must be held in accordance with the law. Emphases must be laid on the unconditional observance of the constitutional norms. Moldova's international partners also indicated that the early elections are inevitable,” the PDM says.
