Early local elections called in 3 communities Nov.15

On November 15 there will be conducted early local elections in three Moldovan villages, as decided today by the Central Election Commission (CEC). The three communities are: Larguta in Cantemir district, and Semionovca and Stefanesti, both in Stefan Voda district. According to CEC president Eugeniu Stirbu, the local councils shall submit to the CEC – until September 30 inclusive, and the parliamentary parties until September 27 – the nominations for the members of the first-level electoral councils. Snap elections became necessary in these three communities as their mayors lost their seats as a result law-breaking activities.
