Dutch NGO donates equipment to Children Republican Hospital

The Children Republican Hospital “Emilian Cotaga” has got from a Dutch organization a new system supplying medical oxygen and compressed air. The cost of the equipment lot and of the setting works is almost 90,000 euros, Info-Prim Neo reports. Thus, the intensive care section and operation rooms have been outfitted with the new system. Other 14 rooms were outfitted with equipment allowing for moistening the oxygen and aspiring biological liquids. All the preparation and installation works have been performed by a team of Dutch technicians. Renewing the rooms of the Children Republican Hospital “Emilian Cotaga” is but an activity supported by the Stichting Werkgroep Urgenta Foundation in Moldova. Now the foundation implements a similar project at the Municipal Clinical Hospital “Sfanta Treime”, to end in 2009. Previously, in its cooperation with Moldova, the Stichting Werkgroep Urgenta Foundation donated 800 specialized beds and equipment for municipal republican health institution.
