The inhabitants of six localities of Drochia district, including Drochia town, will have to obey a curfew between 11pm and 7am. The decision was taken by the district extraordinary public health commission following a high number of cases of COVID-19 recorded in these localities, IPN reports.

The decision covers Drochia town and the villages of Miciurin, Țarigrad, Pelinia, Șuri and Chetrosu. The measure will be in effect from March 10 until March 24.

Under the decision, the public administration authorities of the district, the deconcentrated public services and the public institutions will temporarily not have meetings with people. Consultations will be ensured by phone or mail.

Presence in open public places in groups larger than three persons, except for family members, is banned. The public eating places, like restaurants, bars and cafes, will host festivities involving at most 20 persons by obeying the public health measures and the instructions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Sport, fitness or dance activities in sports halls will be allowed for persons older than 18 in a number of at most 20 persons.

Three mobile teams will check how the infection prevention measures are obeyed by companies and private individuals.

The ignoring of the public health measures stipulated in the decision carries fines.
