Dumitru Robu, Chisinau’s Deputy Chief Prosecutor, will be proposed to the President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon, to be appointed as Acting Prosecutor General.
A motion on Dumitru Robu’s nomination has been filed with the Parliament Secretariat today. MP Sergiu Litvinenco, chairman of Parliament’s Legal Commission, posted on Facebook that the signatories of the initiative are MPs Alexandru Slusari, Igor Grosu and Vlad Bătrîncea.
On Saturday, July 27, Parliament invited applications for the position of Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Moldova. Dumitru Robu was one of the candidates who submitted his file for the contest.
