Dumitru Diacov: Mister Timofti should drink a tea with Snegur, Lucinschi and Voronin

“I would like Nicolae Timofti to be the President of everyone and to find the possibility of discussing more with those from outside the alliance rather than those from inside it. It would be a very good tradition if Mister Timofti drank a tea with former Presidents Snegur, Lucinschi and Voronin and discussed things,” the head of the Democratic faction Dumitru Diacov said in the Parliament’s sitting before the elections, Info-Prim Neo reports. The MP stated that he was satisfied with the program presented by the candidate for the presidency. “In order to eliminate the speculations as to who Mister Timofti represents, I want to say that he is the candidate neither of Ghimpu nor of Filat or Lupu. He is not the candidate of the Russians, Romanians or the Americans. He is a candidate representing the Moldovans, who will have a pro-Moldova attitude and will do everything possible for our country to prosper,” said Dumitru Diacov. He also said that the people can be calm as those holding important positions in the state think about them. “The alliance will become better and more humane. As the danger of early elections disappeared, we will concentrate on Moldova,” stated Dumitru Diacov. The lawmakers are electing today the head of state.
