The candidate for President Dumitru Chubashenko said he is an anti-system candidate with a very harsh position, who has a very swift and efficient solution for freeing Moldova from Vlad Plahotniuc’s yoke – the dissolution of Parliament.

“The other candidates who assert that they will destroy his system will not manage to because Plahotniuc built a jail and, as long as he is the chief of this jail, he will allow no one to change something in Moldova. He will transform any elected President into Timofte 2, who will be blocked in Condrita and will be unable to do something. We propose liquidating the chief of the jail by a decree to dissolve Parliament,” Dumitru Chubashenko stated in a public debate at IPN entitled “What kind of President is society looking for? What kind of society does the President need?”.

He noted that he banks on the voters who want changes in Moldova and believes that the absolute majority of people want the regime of Plahotniuc to be replaced as this man is the embodiment of evil. “I count on the supporters of Renato Usatyi, who has a powerful party with 20,000 active and consistent members who, unlike the members of other parties, work voluntarily in this campaign. In Chisinau, a part of the voters do not accept Usatyi, but accept me. We are sure that this duo will produce a very good result,” stated Dumitru Chubashenko.

He also said that Moldova needs a President of everyone who will not divide, but unite the people and called on the people to go and vote on October 30 and choose the President of the decree by which the current power will be changed.

The electoral public debate “What kind of President is society looking for? What kind of society does the President need?” forms part of a series of debates that involve candidates for the office of President of the Republic of Moldova. It is the 64th installment of the series of debates “Developing political culture by public debates” that are organized by IPN with the assistance of the German foundation “Hanns Seidel”.
