Drunken man rushed to hospital with carbon monoxide poisoning

A man from Durlesti town was taken to Saint Trinity Hospital in Chisinau with carbon monoxide poisoning after his house caught fire last night. Chisinau Ambulance Service spokesman Petru Cravet has told Info-Prim Neo that the man was under the influence of alcohol. He may have caused the fire himself as a result of a moment’s inattention. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Liliana Puscasu said one room of the house was destroyed in the fire. According to preliminary investigations, the fire started from a gas installation.
