A man was rushed to hospital on Saturday morning after his car ran into a tree on Stephan the Great Blvd. in Chisinau. The driver was under the influence. The man had his right shank broken, Silvia Babara, coordinating doctor on guard at the Chisinau Emergency Medical Assistance Station, has told Info-Prim Neo. Another driver inured two pedestrians on Friday evening. The accident happened at the intersection of 31 August and Ciuflea streets after 23.00. On its website, the General Police Commissariat says that the driver of a Volfswagen-Golf struck a 53-year-old man from Causeni town and a young woman aged 28 from Vadul lui Isac village. The pedestrians sustained minor injuries. Also on Friday, a man aged 48 suffered sunstroke after exposing himself to strong sunlight for several hours. He was given first aid at home and wasn’t hospitalized.
