A minibus full of passengers was involved in a traffic accident caused by a drunken driver. As Traffic Police Inspector Ion Roscovanu told Info-Prim Neo, the accident occurred on Monday, December 10, in Chisinau’s Botanica district.
A man driving a Renault car under the influence of alcohol and without a driver’s licence struck an overcrowded Mercedes minibus, on route 103. Fortunately, only a female passenger, 60, suffered minor head injuries.
Chisinau Traffic Police recorded on Monday 3 road accidents with 3 persons injured and 14 accidents with no victims. Police officers fined 8 drivers for drunk-driving, 46 for speeding, 46 for neglecting traffic lights, and 17 jaywalkers.
