The National Patrolling Inspectorate has warned the drivers to inform themselves about the state of the roads before setting out, to show maximum prudence when driving and to reduce the speed in the areas with wet roadway and near crosswalks, IPN reports.
When the roadway is covered with snow, frost, ice or mud, the drivers must keep a greater distance from the vehicles in front so as to be able to stop safety and not to brake or turn suddenly.
The warning by the National Patrolling Inspectorate was issued after the State Hydrometeorological Service forecast snow, sleet and rain all over the country.
