Motorists are strongly advised not to go on long trips the next two days if there is no emergency. When on a journey, the vehicles must be outfitted with tires for the cold period, sand and shovel, IPN reports.

The warning was given by the National Patrolling Inspectorate following a yellow code advisory for difficult weather conditions issued for March 22-23.

Rain will fall on March 22 in most parts of the country. But it will gradually turn into sleet and snow. On March 23, there will be snow only in parts. The wind will intensify to 15-20 m/s, while in parts to 21-25 m/s. There will be ice on roads. The average daytime temperature on March 23 will decrease by about 10 degrees Celsius.
