Drivers will be able to present their driver's license and vehicle registration certificate to the police in a digital format, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, the new EVO telephone application, developed by the e-Government Agency, will allow drivers to access documents directly from their mobile phones, without having to carry them with them in a physical format.
Under the law of November 9, 2023, digital documents in EVO have the same legal force as physical ones.
In order to be able to present the documents to the patrol police in a digital format, it is necessary to install the application and access the "My documents" module. Drivers will be able to select the document and will receive a QR code, which the patrol police officer will be able to scan with the help of the phone.
