Driver who left Varta accident scene arrested

The police have identified the minibus driver who struck a man two days ago near Varta town and left the victim in an unconscious state at the Straseni district hospital, telling the doctors he had found him lying on the side of the road. The driver is a 33-year-old man from Straseni who was working in Chisinau driving his minibus on route 103, a spokesperson for the Traffic Police has told Info-Prim Neo. Another minibus driver on Wednesday struck a 20-year-old woman on Ion Creanga Street in Chisinau, causing her multiple facial injuries. On Wednesday, the Traffic Police registered 3 road accidents with 3 injured persons and 23 other accidents without victims.
