Drinking water at two Chisinau cemeteries to be supplied by tanks

On Low Sunday, May 1 and 2, the water supplier SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” will take drinking water by tanks to the two main cemeteries of Chisinau – Saint Lazarus Cemetery situated on Doina St and the Central Cemetery located on Armeneasca St, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Even if they do not drink much water at cemeteries on Low Sunday, the tanks should be there. There should be drinking water available, not wine. The people will find wine themselves,” said Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca. The local authorities issued authorizations allowing selling goods, including soft drinks, near cemeteries to 30 economic entities. To the other cemeteries, SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” will convey technical water for arranging the graves. There are 11 cemeteries in the municipality of Chisinau.
