Draft budget law will be passed by end March, finance minister

The legislative body is to discuss and adopt the draft budget law for 2011 by the end of this month, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta. “We are discussing the 2011 draft budget law and the bill with amendments concerning the fiscal policy with colleagues from Parliament,” Veaceslav Negruta said in the program “Public Life” on Radio Moldova. “These documents were examined by the Council of the Alliance for European Integration and the Alliance on March 18. A special group composed of MPs will work on them on March 22. The next day, the documents are to be discussed by the parliamentary commissions. By the end of this month, they will be passed by the legislature,” the minister said. Veaceslav Negruta said the Ministry of Finance started to draft the bill with amendments regarding the budgetary-fiscal policy and the management of public finances in 2012- 2014 to a number of laws. According to him, the amendments are designed to optimize the use of the public finances, stimulate the businesses, facilitate trade, and simply fiscal and customs administration.
