Dorin Gotonoaga was chosen as the best judoka of this year. A month ago, he became U-23 European champion, IPN reports.
Gotonoaga scored this result in Podgorica, where he won four victories in the 81 kg weight class. He also won bronze at the Grand-Prix of Dusseldorf.
Eugen Matveichuk, who is the first Moldovan who became cadet world champion, was named the best young judoka. This year he has won gold at the Cadet European Judo Championships and bronze at the European Youth Olympic Festival.
