The president of the Liberal Party Dorin Chirtoacă will run in single-member constituency No. 32 Chisinau. The Liberal leader told the press about this after he laid flowers at Mihai Eminescu’s bust in the central park of Chisinau, IPN reports.
“There were collected over 500 signatures already. We enjoy support, but will go till the end so as to see the viewpoints of the majority of people and will later apply to be registered, with the support confirmed,” stated the former mayor.
Single-member constituency No. 32 includes polling places No. 285-288 in Bubuieci commune; No. 289 and 290 in Budești; No. 291-294 in Ciorescu; No. 308 and 309 in Colonița; No. 310 in Condrița; No. 259-261 in Cricova, No. 295 in Cruzești; No. 311 and 312 in Ghidighici; No. 296-298 in Grătiești; No. 299-302 in Stăuceni; No. 303 in Tohatin; No. 274-277 in Vadul lui Vodă and No. 278 in Vatra.
According to the website of the Central Election Commission, two candidates have been registered in this constituency so far – the mayor of Budești commune Nina Costiuc, of the Democratic Party, and Svetlana Popa, of the Party of Socialists.
