Dorin Chirtoaca requests increasing salaries of sweepers

The road sweepers in Chisinau may receive higher pays from March following a relevant request made by Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the February 11 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, the mayor said inspections showed that the heads of public amenities services have salaries higher than 8,000 lei, while the monthly pay of a sweeper is about 2,000 lei. Dorin Chirtoaca said road sweepers’ salaries should be increased and instructed the head of the Public Amenities Division Petru Gontea to identify the financial resources needed for the purpose so that the pays are raised to 3,000 lei from March 1.
