One of the leaders of the Union Electoral Bloc Dorin Chirtoacă requested the Central Election Commission (CEC) not to allow establishing new polling stations in Russia “based on false applications”. According to him, the opening of new polling stations, primarily in Russia, will actually mean legalization of a fraud, IPN reports.
Dorin Chirtoacă said he earlier informed public opinion and the CEC about the frauds committed by Igor Dodon and the PSRM in a move to falsify the presidential elections. The events of this summer, when a number of public associations and private individuals asked to establish new polling stations in Russia, generated bewilderment and suspicions as there were no such requests at the previous elections and there were no signs that the Moldovans there didn’t manage to vote.
The politician noted the goal of such actions is to establish more polling stations in Russia, where there are not many voters, and to organize the voters on the left bank of the Nistru so as to ensure participation in elections in favor of Igor Dodon. In both of the cases, the goal is to falsify the election results in those polling stations.
