The Bureau for Diaspora Relations said the participants in the program will be chosen according to the order in which the applications will be received. The applicants must be aged between 12 and 17, must understand and be able to communicate in Romanian at elementary level and must inform at least three children from abroad about the camp DOR 2015. The participation fee is €100. The participants must also cover the travel expenses.

The program of the summer camp includes creative, sports, artistic, linguistic and intellectual activities, cultural visits and official meetings. The children and teens will have the occasion for speaking Romanian, knowing the traditions of their people and discovering elements of history and customs.

The program will offer a limited number of scholarships that will cover the travel expenses and participation fee to young people from socially deprived families.
