Doga's music will be played in Chisinau's public transport from March 1

Starting tomorrow, March 1, the music of the famed Moldovan composer Eugen Doga will be played in Chisinau's trolleybuses, buses and minibuses, under a municipal decision which is part of a series of initiatives dedicated to the 575th anniversary of Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. The initiative is also a homage to the composer, who will celebrate his 74th anniversary on March 1. The selection of the tracks has already been made by the municipal Culture Department and transmitted to the carriers. The cost of the initiative is just 3,000 lei, as Eugen Doga didn't ask for royalties. Chisinau's public transportation chief Veaceslav Tarrna, however, said that not all the vehicles were properly equipped for this initiative, but the problem would be solved soon.
