President Igor Dodon will have a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin this week. The information was confirmed for TASS News Agency by the Russian President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov, IPN reports.
“Yes, the preparations for the visit are underway,” the representative of the Kremlin stated for TASS.
Earlier, Igor Dodon announced that he will pay a visit to Russia in the second half of March. While in Moscow, he will take part in a forum of representatives of the Moldovan and Russian business communities alongside members of the President’s Economic Council. The sides will also discuss the investment potential and partnership possibilities in the mutual interest and will sign long-term cooperation agreements.
The first meeting of Igor Dodon as Head of State with Vladimir Putin took place this January.
