The groups led by MPs Igor Dodon and Vadim Mishin have announced their intention to create a formal “group of unaffiliated MPs”. Mishin requested Parliament to include the issue in today's meeting agenda, Info-Prim Neo reporters. The new group would be headed by Zinaida Greceanyi and Tatiana Botnariuc would serve its secretary. Besides Dodon and Mishin, other members include Veronica Abramciuc, Ion Ceban, and Oleg Babenco. Liberal Party leader Mihai Ghimpu noted that under the Parliament's regulations a deputy who left a parliamentary group may join a different group no earlier than six months after the departure. But Mishin argued that the provision isn't applicable in their case, saying forming a group is different from joining one. The Liberal group requested a break before Mishin's proposal is put up for a vote.
