The citizens of the Republic of Moldova can enter Ukraine, also for the purpose of transiting the country, if they mandatorily present health insurance policy that would cover the costs of eventual treatment for COVID-19 and/or the costs associated with quarantine at the border crossing post, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

The Moldovan citizens will have to present the negative result of the PCR test for COVID-19 done within 72 hours before crossing the state border or the negative result of the SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen test done within 72 hours before crossing the state border, or the certificate showing the person got two shots of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the WHO, issued in English or with translation into English.

These documents are not required in the case of children younger than 12.

In the absence of health insurance policy and/or a document of the aforementioned, entry or transit will be banned.
