The residents and guests of Chisinau will be able to see the document in which the name of Chisinau city is mentioned for the fist time at an exhibition, IPN reports.
A group of young people who obtained the document will transmit it to the National Museum of Archeology and History on October 12. The idea of getting the historical monument appeared two years ago, on the City’s Day, when they visited the National Museum of Archeology and History and didn’t see the document mentioning the name of Chisinau for the first time.
In the first half of this year, the young people found out that such a document is kept in the Warsaw Central Archives of Historical Documents. They sent an electronic letter to the archives and soon received an answer. Representatives of the archives explained how the document can be obtained and how much they have to pay. The procedure lasted for several months. The copy of the document was sent to Chisinau in September.
