Doctors recommend eating fat food moderately on Easter

Doctors say fat food and meat should be eaten moderately on Easter. This is a recommendation especially for persons who suffer from pancreatic diseases and who fasted. Doctor of Medical Sciences Alexei Chirilici, a lecturer at the State University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics “Nicolae Testemitanu”, said that different types of food must exist on the Easter table, but it must be eaten in small quantities, IPN reports.

Three-four meals a day are recommended. During the day, one should eat about 100 grams of products of animal origin, 400 grams of vegetables and about 300 grams of fruit as well as not more than 2-3 eggs.

It should be noted that 100 grams of lamb have 260 kcal, 100 grams of pork - 350 kcal, 100 grams of sausage – 324 kcal, while 100 grams of pressed cheese – 283 kcal. The hen egg has 80 kcal, the mayonnaise - 716 kcal/100g, while the mackerel - 183 kcal/100g. 100 grams of cucumbers have 19 kcal, 100 grams of green onion – 20 kcal, 100 grams of parsley – 32 kcal, 100 grams of tomatoes - 27 kcal, 100 grams of chocolate - 525 kcal, while 100 grams of red wine – 165 kcal.
