Six suspects, among who are doctors and pharmacists, are investigated for illegally putting large amounts of narcotic substances into circulation in Comrat district. The police carried out 13 searches at the homes and offices of suspects, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said there was found a storehouse full with counterfeit rugs with a psychotropic effect with the period of validity expired. There were also found and seized mobile phones, handmade equipment for taking drugs, tens of syringes with transparent liquid, accounting registers, money obtained illegally and others.
The six persons are aged between 30 and 50. They are investigated outside remand. If their guilt is proven, they will be jailed for three to seven years and will be banned from holding particular posts or performing particular activities for a period of three to five years.
