A therapist of the Emergency Admissions Unit of the Orhei District Hospital succumbed to COVID-19. The doctor was 66. He was admitted to the Orhei District Hospital on December 5, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry said that 26 new deaths from COVID-19 were recorded today. After doing, 3569 tests, 3,254 of which were primary ones, 1,441 samples turned out to be positive. Of those confirmed with the infection, 58 are healthcare workers.
Over 3,600 patients with COVID-19 are now hospitalized and 264 of them are in a very serious state, with 58 of them being put on a ventilator.
Moldova so far has got 133,300 infections with COVID-19. The death toll stands at 2,700.
