Every day, maib is dedicated to providing our customers with flexible, convenient, and highly efficient financial management opportunities. Our new NFC cash-in feature is a prime example of this dedication, allowing you to top up your cards via Apple Pay or Google Pay using any handy device you have.

We are introducing a new digital wallet card top-up feature, offering swift and seamless access to your bank balance without the hassle of using a physical card. Say goodbye to cumbersome ATM insertions and endless visits to the bank. Now, managing your finances is not just easier but also respects your time, making it quicker than ever before.

The NFC cash-in functionality allows you to add money to your cards using NFC-enabled devices, from smartphones to smartwatches. Here's how you can use this option:

  1. Set up Apple Pay or Google Pay: make sure the cards you want to top up are added to the Wallet app (iOS) or Google Wallet (Android) for fast and secure payments;
  2. Go to a maib ATM: access the maib network of ATMs or use the maibank app to find an ATM equipped with NFC functionality;
  3.  Bring your device close to the ATM: hold your device near the ATM's NFC reader;
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions: select the currency and amount you wish to add according to the displayed steps;
  5. Confirm and complete: After confirmation, the funds will be immediately added to your account, and the transaction will be finalized.

Maib is transforming how customers handle payments and manage their finances by allowing them to easily top up digital and physical cards directly from their smart devices.
