Djoker is heading for a new title in the national beach soccer championship. The team trained by Ian Iacovenco won the derby match against Avantul, of the 12th stage, as a result of the penalty shootout, IPN reports.
The normal period of the game ended undecidedly, 4-4. Avantul led twice by 1-0 and 3-2, but was every time tied. Andrei Negara was the hero of Djoker. He scored twice and became the top scorer of the championship with 23 goals.
Djoker has 34 points after 12 matches played. Olimpia ranks second with 28 points, while Avantul takes the third position with 21 points.
