Disputes at BCC

Three members of the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) left Tuesday’s meeting of the audiovisual watchdog in sign of protest against the way the meeting agenda was drafted and presented At the beginning of the meeting, Vlad Turcanu stated that BCC Chair Gheorghe Gorincioi distributed the order of the day to the BCC members without getting a prior consent of the members at an internal meeting, as prescribed by the standard procedure. Vlad Turcanu, backed by Ludmila Vasilache, requested explanations from the BCC Chair. Gorincioi however insisted on commencing the meeting without offering any explanations. Vlad Turcanu, Ludmila Vasilache and Ruslan Plesca left the room, arguing that their opinion was not taken into account. Gheorghe Gorincioi told Info-Prim Neo he had no comments to make on the incident.
