Dismantled sidewalks to be reused

The sidewalks that were dismantled as a result of road reconstructions works in Chisinau will be reused. These will be offered free for laying out territories of churches, kindergartens, squares and other areas, IPN reports, with reference to an order signed by the acting mayor general.

The list approved by the municipality includes the Church “Great Saint Martyr Dumitru” of Chisinau and the Church “Saint Archangels Mikhail and Gavriil” of Truseni commune, the Onisifor and Octavian Ghibu square on Pushkin St and the Chekhov square on Mitropolit Varlaam St, and several education institutions.

The dismantled concrete and granite sidewalks are 19,230 square meters in area. These will be sorted, transported and used by at the expense of beneficiaries.
