District heating rates for households in Chisinau and Balti could drop after the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) was asked by the suppliers Termoelectrica and CET-Nord for a tariff revision.
Under ANRE’s draft decisions, Termoelectrica’s customers in Chisinau will pay 2,138 lei/Gcal (VAT exlcuded), as compared to 2,774 lei/Gcal at present.
CET-Nord’s customers in Balti could pay 2,245 de lei/Gcal (VAT excluded), as compared to 3,215 lei/Gcal at present.
The revision will be discussed by ANRE at its meeting on March 19.
